Homosexual Criminals
A recent letter in this column stated that “legalizing homosexuality will free hundreds of police officers…to pursue violet criminals who are murdering. raping…” To fact, I must assume homosexuality is legal in Washington, because several homosexuals testified for HB 659 in a public bearing in Olympia. Consider these facts about criminals. Judge Joha M. Murtagh in his book, Cast the First Stone estimates that 50 per cent of the suicides and murders in America’s larger cities can be attributed to homosexuals.
Even the most cursory examination of homosexual magazines reveals that seduction of children is part of the typical homosexual behavior pattern. Actually. HB 699 is concerned with discrimination in housing and employment on the basis of sexual orientation, defined as “having or preferring an emotional or physical attachment to another consenting person or persons of either gender.” Certainly, everyone is entitled to the protection of the law. Perversion is still perversion: it should not be treated as a genetically determined trait. Homosexuality is no more entitled to sanction than are other types of antisocial behavior.
Since teachers have so much influence on their pupils, it would seem unwise to have homosexuals working in the elementary schools: most children develop their sexual orientation between ages four and 10, such a position is made more nonacceptable by the homosexual’s tendency to seduce children. I am grateful that this district’s State Representatives Joe Eabody and William Feller as well as Sen. Gary Odegaard are opposed to this legislation.
