Obituary of Wayne J. Dukette

A Resurrection Mass will be sung October 19 for Wayne J. Dukette, 30, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. His body was found recently in Santa Ana, California, where he had made his home. Interment was there October 5. He was born May 12, 1941, in Lynn, Mass., son of Mrs. Geraldine Dukette Birosh of Portland, who reported that his body was found in California last week the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The cause of death been determined, she said. Mr. Dukette attended Cathedral Grammar School here and had been living in Santa Ana since 1969. Survivors besides his mother include three sisters, Mrs. Anita Salamone of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Sandra Wilson of Brunswick, Sharon Birosh of Portland; three brothers, Richard Dukette of Portsmouth, N.H., Barton W. Rich of South Portland and John Dukette of Falmouth and a half-brother, Robert Birosh of Portland.
