Tragically, Robert Loggins is one of the victims of California serial murderer, Randy Kraft who was convicted of murdering 16 men and boys between 1972 and 1983 and is on death row for his crimes. He was known as the “Scorecard Killer.” He was known to have killed at least another 51 young men and boys and is the most prolific serial murderer in California history.
A Marine stationed at Tustin base. Loggins body was discovered nude inside of a trash bag in the foothills of Paseo Sombra in El Toro. The cause of death was acute intoxication. Antihistamines (chlorpheniramine and diphenhydramine) were found in his system. Loggins was tied in a fetal position with a rope around the ankles and wrists. He had his feet tied near the head. He was wrapped in clear plastic over the body and tied at the neck. Loggins had been sodomized with a sock. Loggins was last seen near the Huntington Beach Pier. Nude photos of Loggins, showing a large tattoo on his arm, posed and dead was found in Kraft’s car. Investigators say the couch in the photos was found in Kraft’s house. Loggins was in the Marine Corp “MC” from Huntington Beach “HB” who had a large “TATTOO” on his arm. Prosecutors believe Loggins is linked to the coded word “MC HB TATTOO” represented on Kraft’s Scorecard found in his trunk the night of his arrest.
