Tragically, Roger Dickerson was one of the victims of California serial murderer, Randy Kraft who was convicted of murdering 16 men and boys between 1972 and 1983 and is on death row for his crimes. He was known as the “Scorecard Killer.” He was known to have killed at least another 51 young men and boys and is the most prolific serial murderer in California history. 

A Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. Dickerson’s body was discovered dumped down a hillside on a dead end of Ceanothus Drive. Dickerson had been discovered nude and mutilated. The cause of death was strangulation. Dickerson’s genitals and left nipple had been bitten and chewed. Dickerson had alcohol and diazepam in his system. Dickerson was last seen at Bud’s Cove Bar in San Clemente. He had told his buddies he found a ride to Los Angeles. Dickerson was in the Marine Corps “MC” and found in “LAGUNA ” hills. The coded word “MC LAGUNA” is represented on Kraft’s Scorecard found in his trunk the night of his arrest.
