He was known as the “Scorecard Killer.” He was known to have killed at least another 51 young men and boys and is the most prolific serial murderer in California history.
A U.S. Marine. Wiebe’s body was discovered at an ice plant near the 7th Street on-ramp to I-405 in Seal Beach. Wiebe had been redressed except for his shoes and one sock. He had been sodomized with a sock. The cause of death was strangulation. Wiebe was hung upside down when tortured and bite marks were found on his stomach and penis. Wiebe suffered a fractured skull from repeatedly being hit on the head with a heavy object. Wiebe had previously been married and divorced just a few months before his death. His car was found with a flat tire parked at the Sportsman Bar in Los Alamitos. The location is close to where the first victim, Eddie Moore was found. Wiebe was found along the “7TH STREET” on-ramp. The coded word “7th STREET” is represented on Kraft’s Scorecard found in his trunk the night of his arrest.
