“Perverted, Sadistic Clown” Kills Eight in Houston Suburb

Jail trusties gouging through three lime-soaked graves last night unearthed the bodies of eight young men, apparently the victim of a “perverted, sadistic clown” who sexually molested them and buried them in a boat shed during the last two years. Police said they expected to find more bodies in the muggy boat shed today. “When you’re dealing with a nut like this that is a sex pervert, you can expect anything,” Officer Breck Porter said. “It would take a perverted, sadistic type of a clown to pull something like this, but I think there is more involved than just one man here,” he added. The macabre story started yesterday when a 17-year-old Houston youth, Elmer Wayne Henley, led officers to the shallow graves in the city’s southwest section and said he had killed the man responsible for the deaths.

The youth told authorities he shot and killed Dean Allen Corll, 33, of suburban Pasadena after an all-night party in Corll’s home, during which the youth and two others had passed out after smelling spray paint. Police said they found what appeared to be torture instruments in the Corll home. “He woke us up and was tying us up and handcuffing us,” Henley told reporter while sitting handcuffed in a patrol car near where the inmates were digging up the remains. “He said he was going to kill us all, but first he was going to have his fun. “I talked to him and told him I would do the killing if he would let me up and let me go-” Henley said he was released and soon grabbed Corll’s .22-caliber pistol and shot him. He called police and told them of Corll’s alleged sexual attacks and burial ground. “At first, it was just this guy’s word,” Pasadena detective David Mullican said. “Then we started out and found eight bodies. “A guy like this is a perverted, sadistic clown.
