Payoff Scandal Homosexual Bars Facing Crackdown

Homosexual bars here are facing a joint State and police crackdown, it was learned as two policemen were implicated in the latest “payoff” case involving one such suspected place. Chief Thomas Cahill disclosed that a bar operator who alleged making payments to Lawrence Cardellini, a supervising State liquor agent here, has now also admitted payments to two policemen.
